#ObiGoesHome

Mr. Obiora Ejindu was born to Late Mr. Samuel Ejindu and Dame Dorothy
Ejindu (Anueyiagu), both of Obosi,  in Idemili North LGA of Anambra
State.

He attended the following schools :
* Lara Day Nursery and Primary School, Ikeja
* Buckingham College, London, UK
* Igbogbi College, Lagos
* Northland High School, Columbus Ohio, USA  (Graduated in 1982)
* Otterbein College where he was an Engineering Student.
From the  circumstances of his birth,  Obi was destined to be unique.
After fifteen years of marriage and five female children,  Samuel and
Dorothy were eager to have a male child. A lot of prayers went up from
many quarters within the family.  After much supplication,  on
Mother's day, March 28, 1965, God answered the collective prayers of a
multitude of people and blessed Samuel and Dorothy Ejindu with a male
child,  who quickly became the apple of everyone's eyes.  He was aptly
named Obiora because many people petitioned God for him.

Growing up Obi was raised like royalty.  He was always dressed in
suits and would never walk bare-footed because he didn't want to get
dirty. As he grew he began to assert his own personality. He felt a
need to establish his own identity.

Obi could be likened to King Edward VIII  who abdicated the throne of
England in 1936 because he had this urgent need to marry a woman who
was unfit to be Queen. Obi made friends with people who were way below
his social status. He interacted with people who would be considered
the 'dregs of the society'. He was quite comfortable with them,  much
to the chagrin of his family.

People may judge Obiora, and sometimes want to condemn him, but Obi
made no apologies for who he was.  Obi understood life more than he
was given credit.  For instance,  Obi believed all are equally in the
sight of God.  He knew that every life matters and that Jesus died
for the ungodly. He knew that it is Love Degree not University
Certificate that takes one to Heaven and that in the end, Destiny
prevails!

Obi joined the saints triumphant on the 23rd of November, 2016. He was

survived by son, Afamefuna,  an aged mother, sisters and many other
relations.

He will be laid to rest on the 6th of February, 2017 at his home town, Obosi.

DARK CLOUDS GATHER OVER DONALD TRUMP’S INAUGURATION.

An anti-Donald Trump group is planning massive disruptions for next week’s inauguration covering everything from “blockades” at security checkpoints to a “dance party” outside VP-elect Mike Pence’s house, according to group leaders as well as newly obtained audio of their apparent plans.
The organization #DisruptJ20 already announced at a press conference Thursday its various plans to wreak havoc at Trump’s Jan. 20 inauguration and in the days leading up to it.
A conservative group also shared with FoxNews.com what it said was audio from a Jan. 8 #DisruptJ20 meeting at a Washington church, giving even greater insight into the group’s planned D.C. “shutdown.”
The audio, recorded by Trevor Loudon with Capital Research Center, purports to show a female member detailing plans to “do everything we can to try and stop people from being able to access the inauguration.”
This begins with what was described as a “pure dance party at Mike Pence’s house” on Jan. 18.
“It’s his last few days living in Chevy Chase before he moves into the vice presidential residence, and we’re going to send him off with a bang,” the woman says in the audio.
Then she says the group is turning its attention toward the pro-Trump “DeploraBall” the following day, which she describes as the “alt-right neo-Nazi … party to celebrate Trump.”
“We’re gonna crash it,” she says.

1983 MILITARY COUP IN NIGERIA WAS TO STOP IGBO PRESIDENCY – EZEIFE

Former Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife in an exclusive interview with Ogene Anambra disclosed that the 1983 military coup which ousted Alhaji Shehu Shagari from office was solely to prevent an Igbo man from becoming president.
He said that the party (National Party of Nigeria, NPN) had already resolved that Dr. Alex Ekwueme, the then Vice-President will be given automatic presidential ticket, an arrangement which didn’t go down well with the political elites in the North prompting the Northern military officers to stage a coup against the Shehu Shagari administration which was already doing a second term in office.
That 1983 coup saw the emergence of Nigeria's current president, Muhammadu Buhari  as the Head of State.

2019: ORJI UZOR KALU EYES THE VP SLOT.

With 2019 fast approaching and the irreconcilable  differences between President Muhammadu Buhari and his former ally, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, there are strong indications that the President may dump the current Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo (SAN) and shop for an Igbo running mate.

Orji Uzor Kalu, the erstwhile governor of Abia State recently joined the All Progressive Congress (APC) and has also called on Igbo politicians to do same. He also said that having a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction is more important  than having Biafra.
With his eyes firmly set on clinching the VP slot, he has been making frantic efforts to warm his way into the heart of the President. His mother, Chief Mrs Eunice Kalu, a powerful politician and also a Woman leader in APC has already put machinery in motion to see that her son becomes Buhari's running mate in 2019.

Some social media users have lambasted Nigerian music entertainer, born Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, for deriding the crowned winner of Miss Anambra 2015 competition, Chidinma Okeke, following her leaked lesbian sex tape saga. The ‘N’abania’ crooner shared a controversial comic post on his Instagram page, @2niteflavour, with a caption in Igbo language reading: “Ataam Cucumber Chidinma”, meaning " I am about to eat Chidimma's cucumber".
Recall that Ms. Okeke is currently entangled in a lesbian sex tape scandal, in a video which has since gone viral on the internet where she was seen having a ‘cozy time’ with her female sex partner, who unconfirmed sources simply identified as Ada.
